Durable Finishes
Not all faucet finishes are created equal.
Delta Faucet Company was the first major faucet manufacturer to market physical vapor deposition (PVD) technology, and Delta's proprietary Brilliance® finish has set the industry standard for PVD process, durability and style.Sometimes people are hesitant to choose a finish other than chrome because they think it may not last as long or it will be hard to clean. There is no longer any need to worry about this. A premium finish, such as Delta’s patented Brilliance finish, will be both durable and easy to clean. In fact, our Brilliance finishes are beautifully engineered to last a lifetime, with no tarnishing or discoloring.
Watch out for imitations...Many faucets may appear the same and tout unique PVD finishes. But beware of Brilliance imitators. In salt-spray testing against the competition, some PVD finishes showed signs of corrosion, pitting or blistering after just a few days, while Brilliance appeared pristine and new even after 900 punishing hours of rigorous testing.
